🌟 The
Story of Ephesians — God’s Plan and Living in Christ
Part One:
God’s Plan of Salvation
Paul reminds believers that God’s plan has
been eternal:
- Before
creation, God chose His people to be holy and blameless
- Salvation
comes by grace through faith, not by works
- Believers
are adopted as God’s children and brought into His family
“In love He predestined us for adoption to
sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will.”
God’s love and plan are perfect and
unchanging.
Part Two:
Unity in the Church
Paul emphasizes that the church is one body:
- Jews
and Gentiles are united through Christ
- Believers
are called to peace, unity, and love
- Every
member has a role in building up the church
“There is one body and one Spirit… one Lord,
one faith, one baptism.”
Unity comes from focusing on Jesus and His
work.
Part Three:
Living a Life Worthy of Christ
Paul teaches believers how to live:
- Be
humble, gentle, and patient
- Bear
with one another in love
- Walk
in good deeds, reflecting God’s calling
“Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to
which you have been called.”
Faith is shown through actions and
relationships.
Part Four:
Strengthened in the Spirit
Paul encourages believers to be strong in the
Lord:
- Pray
constantly
- Put on
the “full armor of God” to stand against evil
- Trust
God’s power and guidance
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you can
take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Spiritual strength comes from faith,
prayer, and God’s protection.
Part Five:
Lessons from Ephesians
Ephesians teaches us:
- God’s
plan is perfect, and salvation is a gift of grace
- Unity
in the church reflects God’s love
- Believers
are called to live humbly, lovingly, and faithfully
Strength and victory come from relying on God
