Story of Revelation — Victory, Hope, and a New Creation
Part One:
Vision of Christ
John receives a vision of Jesus in His
glory:
“I saw one like a son of man, dressed in a
robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around His chest.”
- Jesus
is majestic, powerful, and eternal
- He
holds authority over all creation
- Believers
can trust His guidance and reign
Part Two:
Letters to the Churches
Jesus instructs John to write letters to seven
churches in Asia:
- He
commends faithfulness and warns against sin
- Encourages
perseverance through trials
- Calls
believers to remain steadfast, repent, and follow Him
“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the
Spirit says to the churches.”
- Faithful
living is rewarded, and correction leads to growth
Part Three:
The Cosmic Battle
Revelation shows the battle between good
and evil:
- Satan
and his forces oppose God and His people
- Jesus
and His followers triumph through faith and obedience
- God’s
justice and power prevail over darkness
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the
Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.”
- Courage,
faith, and sacrifice are rewarded
Part Four:
The Final Judgment
God judges sin and rewards the faithful:
- Evil
is defeated, and Satan is thrown into the lake of fire
- All
wrongs are made right
- Believers
are rewarded for faithfulness and perseverance
“Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every
eye will see Him.”
- God’s
justice and victory bring hope and confidence
Part Five:
The New Heaven and New Earth
Revelation ends with a vision of eternal
hope:
- God
creates a new heaven and new earth
- There
is no more sorrow, pain, or death
- God
dwells with His people, and everything is made perfect
“He will wipe every tear from their eyes.
There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
- Believers
are promised eternal joy, peace, and fellowship with God
Part Six:
Lessons from Revelation
Revelation teaches us:
- Jesus
is victorious, eternal, and in control
- Faithfulness
and perseverance are rewarded
- Evil
will be defeated, and God’s justice prevails
- Believers
have hope in the new creation and eternal life with God
